By Athlon Sports: California closed out a century in the Pac-12 with a 14th consecutive losing conference record. Cal now must adapt to playing in the ACC on the opposite coast in the age of NIL and the transfer portal. Cal, which has often been good defensively under coach Justin Wilcox, needs a return to form.
The offense, with two capable quarterbacks and a star at running back in Jaydn Ott, should continue to ascend if turnovers are limited.
