By Chris Karpman, SunDevil Source: Fresh off of an appearance in the College Football Playoff, Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham has hired someone new to oversee his recruiting and player personnel, an all-important position in the current college landscape.

Josh Omura, who was the director of recruiting at Washington last season, will be executive director of player personnel and recruiting with the Sun Devils, people familiar with the move told Sun Devil Source.

Known for his extensive West Coast and Polynesian ties, Josh Omura was very involved in building a 2023 roster that went 10-3 in Arizona's final Pac-12 season before he became director of recruiting at Washington last season. Now he'll lead the Sun Devils' roster-building efforts.
