By Trevor Booth, Sun Devil Source: Arizona State senior forward Kimani Lawrence is planning to return for the 2021-22 season, according to the team’s Twitter account.
Lawrence, who was a fourth-year senior for the 2020-21 season, is the first Sun Devil to announce he will take advantage of the NCAA Division I board of directors’ decision in October to give all winter athletes an additional year of eligibility due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. All teams get exemptions for every returning senior above the 13-man scholarship cap.
