Sun Devil Source: Last February, Parkview Magnet (Little Rock, Ark.) High 2022 running back James Jointer told HawgSports.com it would be difficult for out-of-state schools to persuade him to leave his home state. But since he was offered a scholarship from Arizona State on Jan. 12, he has been more open to that possibility.
Jointer, who is rated as the No. 54 running back prospect and No. 8 recruit in Arkansas in his class, has reported 24 scholarship offers, including an opportunity from two other Pac-12 schools (Colorado and Utah). The Utes became the latest program to extend him an offer along with Virginia and Michigan State Jan. 24.
