by Trevor Booth, Sun Devil Source: Arizona State associate head coach Rashon Burno has accepted the head coaching position at Northern Illinois.
Burno, who played college basketball at DePaul from 1998-99 to 2001-02 and won back-to-back national championships at St. Anthony’s (Jersey City, N.J.) High under ASU coach Bobby Hurley’s father, Bob Hurley Sr., in 1996 and 1997, joined ASU’s staff in July of 2015 and was named associate head coach in the summer of 2016.
