Sun Devil Source: Former Utah wide receiver Bryan Thompson announced via Twitter his decision to transfer to Arizona State on Thursday.
Thompson, who recorded nine catches for 187 yards and a touchdown last season for the Utes last season, will be immediately available for the Sun Devils and has two years of eligibility remaining. At a listed 6-foot-2 and 207 pounds, Thompson has arguably been Utah’s top vertical threat over the last two years and gained a reputation similar to former ASU wideout Frank Darby for his ability to gain yards after the catch.
