By Big 12 Conference: Arizona State, BYU and Houston had multiple award winners as UCF and TCU rounded out the Big 12 Football weekly honors. ASU’s Jordyn Tyson and Houston’s Conner Weigman were offensive honorees while TCU’s Kaleb Elarms-Orr and BYU’s Tanner Wall earned accolades on defense.
The kicker tandem of Jesus Gomez from ASU and Ethan Sanchez from Houston took home special teams awards while BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier was named Freshman of the Week. Houston had the Offensive Line of the Week, and UCF took home Defensive Line of the Week for Week Eight.
