As realignment swirls, SEC sits tight with eye on a few possible candidates

By John Talty, 247Sports: The realignment carousel is in full swing again, with seemingly every conference thrown into the mix except the Southeastern Conference.

SEC commissioner Greg Sankey has the latitude to be patient, not having to worry about the conference’s survival or need to add schools the way many of his commissioner peers currently are because of the conference’s strong stable of valuable universities.
