By John C. Witter, CougFan.com:Â Spokane’s venerable Joe Albi Stadium is almost gone. The wrecking crews have been making short work of the 72-year-old edifice that served for decades as the Washington State University football team’s home away from home.
The site will be filled in, leveled and planted over with grass as a new stadium rises up downtown.
