By Payne Moses, Arizona Sports: Unlike previous years, Arizona men’s basketball is opening its preseason against an NCAA Tournament-caliber team in Saint Mary’s on Saturday at 2 p.m. MST at McKale Center.
Coach Tommy Lloyd said Thursday that he is looking forward to the challenge that the perennial West Coast Conference power poses to his team, which is littered with talented freshman. However, he also wishes that the exhibition could be followed up by facing a national team.
