Arizona's Koa Peat, BYU's AJ Dybantsa make inaugural Big 12 'Starting Five'

By Big 12 Conference: Arizona’s Koa Peat (co-player and newcomer) and Texas Tech’s Christian Anderson (co-player) took home Big 12 men’s basketball weekly awards for the opening week of the 2025-26 season. In addition, BYU’s AJ Dybantsa, Cincinnati’s Baba Miller and Kansas’ Darryn Peterson join Peat and Anderson in the inaugural Big 12 Starting Five, which highlights other strong performances from across the Conference.

Honorees were determined by a panel of media who cover Big 12 basketball.
