By Eric Townsend, Zona Zealots: Coming off a tremendous run in which the Arizona Women’s Basketball team made their first trip to the Final Four and the National Championship, it will be a busy off-season for head coach Adia Barnes as she will serve as an assistant on the USA AmeriCup Team.
Making news yesterday, Barnes was named as an assistant under Dawn Staley and will be with Team USA as they compete in the AmeriCup, which will feature numerous collegiate athletes and attendees.
