By Jason Scheer, Wildcat Authority: Arizona quarterbacks Gunner Cruz and Will Plummer have gotten the majority of snaps during spring, but as of now, there is very little separation between the two.
Ideally, a quarterback would have emerged, but the fact that the system is new and both lack experience have caused this to continue to be a close race.
“You’d always like to see that,” Fisch said. “But we were going in thinking that was probably not going to happen in the spring because of the fact that neither one had a foundation in our system.
