By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: Arizona State hired Oregon offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham as the Sun Devils’ head football coach, the school announced Sunday, confirming Sun Devil Source’s report Saturday. The ASU job opened in September when Herm Edwards mutually relinquished his duties amid his fifth season in Tempe, Arizona.
“We are proud to announce Kenny Dillingham as our new head football coach. He brings the energy, knowledge and appreciation of our state and university that is valued by all of us,” said Arizona State athletic director Ray Anderson.
