Arizona State has 9 MLB Draft picks in first 10 rounds, tying school record

By Chris Karpman, Sun Devil Source: Arizona State tied its school record for the most players selected in the first 10 rounds of the MLB Draft with nine such picks in 2025, a clear illustration that professional scouts perceived the team to be among the nation’s most talented.

It was also among the most talented teams, at least by perception, in ASU history, shattering the most top-10 round picks this century by three over a 2008 MLB Draft in which six players were taken in that range.
