By Arizona Sports: Arizona State guard Vijay Wallace was taken off the court on a stretcher after suffering what was later determined to be a season-ending ankle injury during an exhibition game against Texas A&M on Sunday night.
Multiple reports, including one from SunDevilSource.com’s Chris Karpman, said Wallace was injured while landing during a dunk attempt. On Thursday, coach Bobby Hurley confirmed Wallace dislocated his ankle and underwent surgery on Wednesday.
