In a span of fewer than two weeks this month, Arizona State obliterated historical recruiting records for the first half of any recruiting cycle in Tempe.
During an 11-day stretch from July 15 to July 25, the Sun Devils landed 10 verbal commitments, a staggering number without any real comparison. Prior to this year, the program had never picked up that many commitments in any previous class before August.
