By Alex Weiner, Arizona Sports: Arizona State safety Xavion Alford declared for the NFL Draft, he announced on Thursday, forgoing his final year of college football eligibility.
After six years in college and an All-conference nod, the 6-foot defensive back is ready to move forward.
“I came here on a mission to make it a better place when I left than when I came,” Alford wrote. “This is a place I will always call home. The experiences and lifelong relationships are something I will truly cherish for the rest of my life.”
