Arizona searches for new T&F/XC coach as Fred Harvey moves to emeritus role

By Arizona Athletics: University of Arizona Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Fred Harvey announced today that he will retire as head coach at the end of the 2025 outdoor season. In recognition of his dedicated service, the Athletics Department will be honoring him with the title of Coach Emeritus.

“We thank Coach Harvey for his decades of dedication to the University of Arizona and the Track and Field/Cross Country program,” said Arizona Vice President and Director of Athletics Desireé Reed-Francois. “He has left a lasting mark on our student-athletes, staff, and the sport.
