By Jason Scheer, Wildcat Authority: Arizona tight end Tyler Powell left Saturday’s game against Hawaii after one play and on Thursday, head coach Brent Brennan confirmed that Powell is out for the season with an undisclosed leg injury.
“We’ve got great people that are going to help him get back on his feet and recover,” Brennan said.
In the offseason, Arizona tight end coach Josh Miller spoke highly of Powell and believed he was ready to take a big jump this season.
