By Damon Allred, Arizona Sports: Mason White’s RBI single pushed the Arizona Wildcats ahead of North Carolina in a wild eighth inning of a do-or-die Game 3 on Sunday, and Arizona held on for a 4-3 win to punch its ticket to the College World Series.
The bases were loaded for White with one out and after posting a hat trick of home runs earlier in the postseason, he came up big in the clutch for the go-ahead knock.
