By Jason Scheer, Wildcat Authority: Throughout Thursday’s Arizona football practice, running back coach Alonzo Carter could be heard emphasizing ball security and blocking.
“It’s something I am going to emphasize and something we’re going to do every day,” Carter said. “When you have players that have been here in spring, I expect them to lead it, and then the new players follow suit. We have a couple new bodies and they need to know how we work, so when we’re starting drills most of the drills we’re doing are day one drills.
