Alabama spring game draws 47,218, largest U.S. sports crowd since pandemic

By Chris Cwik, Yahoo Sports: If Alabama fans are allowed to attend a game, they are going to go. If you didn’t know that already, Saturday made it clear.

Alabama held its spring game Saturday with 47,218 fans in attendance. That’s the most fans at a sporting event in the United States since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bryant-Denny Stadium was allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity for Saturday's game.
