By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: Mike Bohn fired Clay Helton early. The whole point of making that very unorthodox move was to spend time lining up candidates, assembling a sales pitch and a package, and being able to move quickly.
The thought entering the weekend was that since Matt Campbell would not coach in the Big 12 Championship Game, Bohn could move early on him.
