By Chris Karpman, SunDevil Source: Entering his 11th season as Arizona State’s head coach, Bobby Hurley is facing several unprecedented challenges that have put “his back against the wall” according to the school’s athletic director, Graham Rossini.
For the first time, Hurley will coach in 2025-26 while in the final year of his contract as his existing deal is set to expire next June. He’ll also do so with just one returning scholarship player, sophomore guard Trevor Best, who averaged just 12.7 minutes in 11 games as a fringe rotational player last season.
