By Ryan Kelapire, Arizona Desert Swarm: Whether it was Sean Miller or Tommy Lloyd, the Arizona Wildcats have been pursuing TyTy Washington hard ever since he decommitted from Creighton in March, and there is strong mutual interest.
Arizona is one of six finalists for the five-star point guard who explained to Sports Illustrated why the UA is so appealing to him.
A Chandler native, the 6-foot-3 Washington attends Phoenix’s AZ Compass Prep and is the No. 3 point guard in the 2021 class, making him the top-rated uncommitted prospect at that position.
