247Sports: The San Francisco 49ers have waived former Washington Huskies standout, Salvon Ahmed. The former All-Pac-12 running back originally signed with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 1, 2020.
On Tuesday, the Niners announced the signing of former Indianapolis Colts tight end Erik Swoope. In order to make room on the roster, the team parted ways with Ahmed.
