By Carter Bahns, 247Sports: Michigan is on a climb back up the AP Top 25 rankings after its Big Ten-opening win over league newcomer USC, and it earned a lift in the conference power rankings, as well. The Wolverines made the most of their quarterback change, committing fully to their identity as a run-first team with a mobile signal-caller, and it worked wonders as they ran all over the Trojans and pulled out a gritty win.
That was just one of two top-25 showdowns in Big Ten play last weekend, though.
