By Cody Nagel, 247Sports: The Big Ten firmly positioned itself alongside the SEC as the “Power 2” in college football after the latest round of conference realignment. That also means the level of competition increased significantly with more national championship-caliber programs entering the league ahead of the 2024 season.
The Big Ten could get a handful of teams in the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff if top contenders are able to survive their respective “season-defining” games.
