By Carter Bahns, 247Sports: The college football recruiting rankings for the 2026 cycle received a sizable update midway through the season, with a bevy of players seeing their ratings rise and fall in accordance with their performances as high school juniors. Texas A&M and Oregon are among the highest-profile programs to see some of their commits move up and down the ladder, and both squads are in enviable standing early in the race for the 2026 recruiting crown.
Most of the work in this cycle will begin in earnest after the 2025 class signs with its destination programs this winter. But those who got a head start, like the Aggies and Ducks, picked up commitments from some of the most prized prospects in the country.
