By Carson Breber, Sun Devil Source: As Arizona State led 32-23 early in the third quarter against then-No. 20 UCLA, the team’s defense found itself facing perhaps its biggest play of the season – a fourth-and-1 with only two yards of turf between its opponents and the end zone.
Although the stakes were high, it would seem few teams in the nation were better equipped to handle the pressure of such a moment, as ASU’s uber-experienced defense began the season with all 11 starters back from the Pac-12’s stingiest scoring unit.
