By Greg Witter, CougFan.com: Today, one of them owns a Super Bowl ring, another is coming off a huge NFL season, and yet another is hoping to defeat the Cougars this October as a member of an opposing Pac-12 coaching staff.
Two of those three — Deone Bucannon and Peyton Pelluer — claimed five of the Cougars’ 10 tackling crowns over the last decade and Jalen Thompson — the Arizona Cardinals’ leading tackler last season — might have joined then as multi-season champs had he not left early for the NFL.
