By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: In a tight game where Washington State failed to adequately defend the 3-point line, a South Dakota State step-back triple at the buzzer clipped the Cougars 77-74 in Spokane on Saturday.
The WSU defense wasn’t strong enough, and the offense went through several stretches where the Cougs flat-out could not score.
