CougFan: Washington State made it interesting in the final minute but the Cougs lost 68-66 at Oregon State on Saturday. And it was brutal, said head man Kyle Smith. No, really brutal.  “I don’t think I’m allowed to state the obvious but it was brutal, brutal, brutal, brutal, brutal,” said Smith. WSU (11-8/4-8) could not get the offense going much of the way, but the real difference-makers were found elsewhere.
