By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: No school had ever swept the Pac-12 men’s basketball weekly awards twice in one season until Monday, when Washington State swept for a second time this year, and the first time since the Freshman of the Week award was introduced in 2019-20. Isaac Jones was named Pac-12 Player of the Week for the second time and Myles Rice received the Freshman of the Week honor for a seventh time, tying the Pac-12 record set by Evan Mobley in 2020-21.
Jones and Rice also swept the awards in mid-January when the Cougars knocked off USC and Arizona.
