CougFan.com: Washington State President Kirk Schulz has long been dialed in on Cougar football. But with the Pac-12’s return to play on the gridiron now a go amid the pandemic, he doesn’t want Cougar Nation fans to overlook basketball either, with Kyle Smith’s second season on the WSU hardcourt, and Kamie Ethridge’s third campaign on the Palouse, both on tap.
Last week, the Pac-12 presidents also gave the OK for basketball. And one big difference between hoops and football: with smaller teams, basketball is much better positioned to play close to a full season.
