By CougFan.com: Washington State overcame a slow start to win going away on Saturday in the Cougars’ first game on Friel Court in nearly a month.
They downed Counzo Martin’s tough Missouri State squad 91-78 to improve to 9-2 on the season, but the real headline on the day came after the game when WSU coach David Riley announced that the team’s best player, Cedric Coward, and two promising rookies, Marcus Wilson and Rihard Vavers, are out for the season with injuries.
