By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Washington State kicker Dean Janikowski suffered a broken hand on his final punt of the game at San Diego State last Saturday, Jake Dickert revealed Monday. In a wild play and aftermath, the Cougars’ kicker/punter/kickoff specialist was hit with seconds left in the fourth quarter and had his hand bent back from the contact, resulting in the injury.
“He actually broke his hand in that exchange at the end, before the brawl,” Dickert said.
