By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Washington State men’s basketball coach David Riley has landed what looks to be the linchpin needed to keep the Cougars’ fortunes rolling in 2024-25. Cedric Coward, the star of Riley’s regular-season Big Sky champion EWU Eagles last season, pulled out of the NBA Draft pool earlier this week and announced today on Intagram he’s reuniting with Riley in Pullman.
The 6-6, 206-pound wing with a 7-foot wingspan becomes the fourth Eagle to follow Riley to WSU — and the immensity of his arrival cannot be overstated.
