By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: How crazy has recruiting gotten? On Sunday, Washington State offered Aedyn Havili, a 6-2, 275-pound defensive lineman in the class of 2028. Havili is 14 years old and goes to Sacajawea Middle School in Federal Way. Yes, MIDDLE SCHOOL.
But in today’s wild world of college athletics, it is never too early to start recruiting. Shortly after WSU offered, Idaho did the same.
