By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Washington State could be without an important defensive depth piece against Texas Tech on Saturday. When the Cougars and Red Raiders meet at 7 p.m. in Pullman on FOX, nickel Jerrae Williams might not be in uniform for the Cougars.
There is no doubt that Kapena Gushiken is the starting nickel but if Williams is not available behind him, WSU will have to entrust someone else to spell Gushiken if necessary.
