By John C. Witter, CougFan: When it comes to the two Cougars who will face off against each other in Pullman this Saturday at 12:30 (FS1), Washington State and Brigham Young are no slouches when it comes to dialing up donnybrooks with each other despite having only played four times.
Their first-ever match up, in the 1981 Holiday Bowl, cemented Ricky Turner as a WSU fan favorite after rallying the crimson side to a remarkable comeback that fell just short, but the 1989 slugfest between the two literally made television sports history.
