CougFan.com: Washington State’s football team has nine players in COVID protocol, athletic director Pat Chun said during a Friday press conference. WSU’s game at Stanford was cancelled after the Cougs fell below the 53-scholarship player threshold.
Four of those nine were positive tests came back around 11 a.m. on Friday, indicating that WSU was right on the edge of being able to play before the results came in.
