By Tony Cosolo, Buffaloes Wire: The Colorado Buffaloes put an exclamation point on their regular season with a dominant 52-0 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Friday.
The Buffs started fast at Folsom Field with a 21-point first quarter and never looked back to send their final regular season record to 9-3 (7-2 Big 12). Still alive in the Big 12 championship game hunt, CU took care of its end of the bargain and will now await the results of other conference games.
Even if the Buffs don’t reach the Big 12 title game, head coach Deion Sanders’ second season in Boulder has been special. Colorado has found its swagger again with wins and recruits coming to Boulder.
