By Brian J. Pedersen, Arizona Desert Swarm: Arizona made a concerted effort to use the NCAA transfer portal to beef up its linebacker ranks, signing four players from other FBS programs. Only three were expected to make it to the Tucson, but now the fourth is in the fold as well.
Hayward, who signed with the Wildcats in February, was reportedly dropped from the program in May for undisclosed reasons.
