By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: College football bowl projections are out in Week 4 following a relatively uneventful series of games. That said, college football nearly saw this season’s biggest shocker in Saturday’s late game before Georgia pulled one out at Kentucky, which pushed the Bulldogs back outside of the top-four projection.
SEC newcomer Texas had no issues dispatching UTSA at home, even without Quinn Ewers, who left with a first-half injury before Arch Manning accounted for five touchdowns in relief. Not only do the Longhorns have an elite win at Michigan, but they’ve clicked on all cylinders against inferior competition, too.
Ohio State looks like the Big Ten’s best and Kansas State has posted consecutive wins against quality opponents that have sparked a rise from the Wildcats in our newest postseason picks.
