Dawgman: The University of Washington updated their COVID-19 numbers as they do every Wednesday, and there were two more active positive cases that were added in the last six days, bringing the total number of positive cases to nine after 247 athletes were tested.
“We have 247 student-athletes who have gone through testing and have two active positive cases,” said a UW spokesperson on Wednesday. “One was previously reported last week and the other is a new case from a student-athlete who was in quarantine after being identified as at-risk after having contact with an individual who had tested positive. This brings our total positive cases to nine. These individuals are going through our COVID-19 care and quarantine protocols.”
