By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Washington State announced Tuesday it had extended both men’s basketball coach David Riley and women’s basketball coach Kamie Ethridge another season, with their contracts now running through the 2030-31 season. Ethridge’s team went 19-12/14-6 and finished third in the WCC this season, while Riley’s squad is 18-13/8-10 and finished sixth in the WCC.
Both extensions are likely rollovers, the type of extension written into contracts the Cougars have been utilizing for years to they and keep their coaches in place and recruiting on track.
