By Dan Raley, Inside the Huskies: Brennan Carroll has worked with plenty of offensive lines as an NFL and college coach — as the son of Pete Carroll, for that matter — he just hasn’t faced a situation quite like the one he has now at the University of Washington.
The Huskies lost eight scholarship linemen with eligibility remaining after appearing in the CFP national championship game against Michigan in January: two players to the NFL Draft, four to SEC teams and two more to medical retirement.
