By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: While linebacker Carson Bruener never stated any intentions of entering the transfer portal, his Friday afternoon announcement stating he’ll be returning to Washington is still an important retention for Jedd Fisch’s coaching staff.
The Huskies are extremely thin at linebacker and Bruener’s return gives the defense a productive tackler in the middle of the field and a veteran leader.
